SMS actions and calls in the Reply extension allow you to communicate with prospects in real-time, just like in the messenger. This possibility helps you to keep your prospects engaged and get sales moving fast.
A quick note:
Reply platform allows you to send SMS, or add SMS step to a sequence on the platform. Besides, you can use the SMS Inbox page to monitor all the messages.
Send SMS messages from the Reply Chrome Extension
To send direct SMS messages to a contact, follow these steps:
Open Reply Chrome Extension by clicking on the extension's icon in the top-right corner of your browser.
Navigate to the People tab → click on any of the contacts you want to start communication with.
Click on the Messages tab and the messenger module will be shown.
Type your message and click on the Send button.
All messages will be shown to you in real-time and once the contact sends you a message back, you will see it.
You can also use a ready-made template for the text and send it right away. Click on the Templates icon → select folder and click on the template (it will appear in the text field automatically).
If you mark contact with Opted out status, you will be unable to send them messages, resulting in an error in this tab.
Even if the contact's phone number has changed, you can still access earlier communications and continue chatting.
You will be unable to send messages if the phone number of your contact is incorrect. In this scenario, double-check their phone number and retry sending messages.
View SMS communication history
Message tab in the extension will save all the history of your SMS communication. You can switch to another dialogue, or open another tab and then return to the dialogue again.
Activity tab in the extension will also store information about your calls and SMS actions with the contact but in a shorter format:
The history of communications will also be shown on the Reply platform on the SMS Inbox page.
