Inbox overview

Learn how to view and manage replies from all your sequences in one place

Written by Tania

Reply's Inbox brings all conversations across your sequences into a single view. It helps you keep track of replies, respond faster, and organize conversations without switching between sequences.

To open Inbox, click Inbox in the main menu on the left.

View threads

All replies appear in the Inbox as threads, sorted by the most recent message first. Each thread gives you a quick overview of the conversation, including:

  • Channel (manual or automatic email, or LinkedIn)

  • Contact name

  • Inbox Category (for example, Interested, Not interested, Meeting intent, Do not contact – assigned automatically based on the reply)

  • Message preview

  • Sequence

  • Category

  • Date and time of the latest reply

💡 By default, one page shows up to 50 threads. You can move between pages using the arrows in the top right corner.

Switch between view modes

You can switch between two viewing modes depending on how you prefer to work:

  • Standard view – shows the full list of threads

  • Split view – shows the thread list and the selected conversation side by side. Split view is helpful when you want to go through replies one by one without leaving the list.

To use it, click the Split pane mode icon on the right.

Manage threads

Click any thread to open the full conversation along with the contact's details.

Inside a thread, you can:

  • Review the full message history

  • Mark as unread

  • Assign categories to organize conversations

  • Delete a thread

If you need to take action on multiple conversations, you can select several threads at once and apply bulk actions:

Reply to threads

Reply to an entire thread

At the bottom of the thread, click:

  • Reply to respond to the contact.

  • Reply All to respond to the contact and everyone in CC.

Reply to a specific message

Next to an individual message, click:

  • Reply to reply to that message.

  • Reply All to reply to that message and everyone in CC.

Forward a thread or message

  • Click Forward at the bottom of the thread to forward the entire conversation.

  • Click Forward next to an individual message to forward only that message.

When writing your reply, you can use templates and variables, preview your message, as well as format text or add links and media.

💡 In Team Edition (both Public and Private modes), you can also view and reply to threads initiated by your teammates. Check this article to learn more.

Search threads

If you're working with a large number of conversations, you can use search to quickly find the thread you need.

You can search by:

  • Contact name

  • Email address

  • Email subject

Search also works with partial matches. You can enter just a fragment of a name, email, or subject line, and relevant results will still appear.

Filter threads

Inbox includes several filtering options to help you focus on the most relevant conversations.

You can filter threads by owner (available in Team Edition):

  • All – threads from all team members

  • My – only your threads

  • Specific team member

You can also filter by channel to focus on a specific type of outreach:

  • Email – manual or automatic email conversations

  • LinkedIn – LinkedIn threads

Folders help you switch between the main Inbox views:

  • Inbox – shows all threads in your Inbox (this is the default view)

  • Unread – shows only threads with unread messages

  • AI draft – shows threads with replies generated by Jason AI

Categories help you organize replies based on intent, such as:

  • Interested

  • Not interested

  • Not now

  • Do not contact

You can also narrow results by using the filters at the top of the page:

  • Sequence

  • Sending email

  • Sending LinkedIn account

  • Category

  • Time range (All time, Older than 1 month, Older than 3 months, Older than 6 months, or Custom)

Filters can be combined. For example, you can view only unread LinkedIn conversations within a specific category.

You can also open Inbox for a specific sequence to see only its conversations. It works the same way as the main Inbox, just for one sequence.

If your Inbox includes auto-replies, out-of-office messages, or bounced emails, you can hide them to keep your view focused on real conversations.

You can also set up notifications for Inbox replies to stay updated when new replies come in.
