In Reply, you can add a Call step to your sequence. This step allows you to schedule the calls to your contacts as part of your outreach process. To add the Call step, follow these steps:
If you are creating the sequence from scratch, select the Call step on the Steps tab.
If you want to add the Call step as a follow-up step, click + and select Call
In the text editor, you can add notes to help you during calls. Click Save, and that's it.
Call task
When a prospect is moved to the Call step, Reply creates a Call task accessible from the Tasks page in the Reply account.
Otherwise, you can find the Call tasks in the Chrome Extension.
If you enabled the Cloud Calls feature, you can call the contact, log your call, and set call resolution. If you did not enable the Cloud Calls feature, you can finish the task and move on. For more information on how to use Cloud Calls in the Call step, see the following article.
Calls handling
When you set up a sequence, you can select how to handle Call steps - automatically or manually.
Manual mode:
The contact is not moved to the next step until you finish the task manually.
If Call is the last step in a sequence, the contact gets the Finished status after a specified number of days (5 by default).
Automatic mode:
The contact is moved to the next step if you finish the task manually.
The contact is moved to the next step automatically after step delay if you do not finish the task manually.
If Call is the last step in a sequence, the contact gets the Finished status after a specified number of days (5 by default).
The Automatically call on opens feature triggers a call to a contact once they’ve opened your email a specified number of times. It helps you reach out at the moment of highest interest, increasing the chances of engagement. For best results, it’s recommended to set the trigger between 4 and 7 opens. Check this article to learn how it works.
The Pause on successful call feature automatically stops a contact’s sequence once a call has been successfully completed. This ensures the prospect isn’t contacted further through automated steps, helping you avoid over-communication and keep outreach relevant.
