The goal of the Task step is to inform you that you must do something to your contacts, for example - book a meeting after a successful call. When a contact is moved to the Task step, Reply creates a task accessible from the Tasks Dashboard in Chrome Extension or the Tasks page in the web application.
You can create a Task step in the Sequence Wizard. The text you entered will be displayed in tasks generated by the sequence:
Manual and Automatic modes
The Task step supports Manual and Automatic modes.
Manual mode:
The contact is not moved to the next step until you finish the task manually.
If Task is the last step in a sequence, the contact gets the Finished status after the specified number of days.
Automatic mode:
The contact is moved to the next step if you finish the task manually.
The contact is moved to the next step automatically after step delay if you do not finish the task manually.
If Task is the last step in a sequence, the contact gets the Finished status after the specified number of days.
