You can use smart filters to sort contacts based on different criteria including their current step. This article will help you with the steps. Let's dive in!

Steps to follow

Once you have launched the sequence with some contacts in it, you can check their current step. Here is how you can do it:

  1. Open the sequence;

  2. Go to the People tab;

  3. Click on the Filter icon:

  4. Select Current step in the property field + Equals + Choose your sequence.

  5. Choose the number of the step you want to filter.

  6. Apply or Save the filter and it is done!

💡 Important: Throttled and Finished steps can be checked using the Contact state in sequence filter with the values Throttled or Finished.

  • Throttled status means the contacts have not been processed yet.

  • Finished indicates the sequence is over for this contact (they either replied or received all steps).
