The sequence steps are an important part of each campaign, so Reply offers you flexibility in the setup. This article will help you manage them and adjust to your needs.
Adding a step
There are many options for sequence steps depending on the communication channel you need. Here is what you need to do to add another one:
Go to the Steps tab of your sequence;
Click the New Step button:
Choose the type of channel you want:
Select whether this is an Automatic or Manual step:
Automatic steps are handled by Reply, so you do not need to do anything but launch your sequence. If you choose the Manual type, you need the extension to complete your tasks.
Adding a step variant
If you need to test a few step options, you can add an email variant. This helps you compare the rates and pick the best email:
The variants are split automatically, so you do not need to assign contacts manually.
Editing a step
There are 3 options for step management:
Pause - this variant is shown on steps with A/B variants:
Edit - once you click on this button, you will see the step editor:
Clone - this option helps you duplicate the step:
π‘ Important: once Reply sends your step to contacts, you can no longer edit its type.
Changing step order
If you need to change the order of the steps, use the drag-and-drop option.
Same as with the editing, you may only change the order of the steps if there are no processed contacts.
Removing a step
The Remove icon is located on the left. Here is how it looks:
π‘ Important: If you try removing a step that has been sent to some contacts, you will get an error notification.
