Each sequence has the Stats tab with all the needed metrics and numbers. This article will help you understand what each of these means👇

  • Total/Contacted

  • Delivery rate

  • Open rate

  • Reply rate

  • Interested

  • Meetings Booked

  • Opt-outs rate

  • Bounce rate

  • Not reached

Total people

Total people is the overall number of people we sent the sequence message to. Total = Contacted + Out of Office + Bounced + Auto Replied contacts.

💡 Important:

  • The Total People sum of several time ranges within the sequence is greater than the whole sequence time range.

  • If you delete a contact, the value will decrease.

  • If you work with the team report and delete a team member, the metrics will not change.

Contacted

The Contacted value shows all the people Reply has sent emails to. The main difference between the Total and Contacted is the fact the Contacted list received an email.

💡 Important: the Contacted value does not include the Out-of-Office, Bounced, and Auto Replied contacts.

Delivery rate

The delivery rate summarizes the emails from all sequence steps. Here is how you can calculate this rate:

  • Delivery rate in % = number of delivered emails x 100 / Total people

💡 Important: the delivery rate excludes Bounces but includes Automatic replies + Out-of-office.

Open rate

The open rate is the number of opened emails on all steps.

Open rate in % = number of opened emails x 100 / Contacted

💡 Important: Open rate does not count automatic replies and out-of-office messages.

Reply rate

The reply rate shows a number of historical replies in a sequence. This rate is triggered when an email gets into some inbox category. Here is how you can calculate it:

  • Reply rate in % = number of replies x 100 / Contacted

💡 Important: Reply rate does not count automatic replies and out-of-office messages. It also shows data for the current moment and does not always coincide with the overall Reply rate.

Interested

The Interested metric represents the number of potentially interested contacts (based on the Inbox category). Here is the formula you need:

  • Interested in % = Interested x 100 / Contacted

Opt-outs rate

The opt-out rate metrics show how many people unsubscribed from your emails. It works in real-time and is not historical. Here is how you can calculate it:

  • Opt-outs rate in % = Opted out x 100 / Contacted

💡 Important:

  • If you remove the Opted Out status from a contact, the value will change.

  • If you remove the contact with this status, the metrics won't change.

  • If you delete the contact from the sequence and remove the Opted Out status, it will not be shown in the stats.

Bounce rate

The Bounce rate metric is a number of bounced emails. Here is the formula you need to check this:

  • Bounce rate in % = Bounced emails x 100 / Total people

Not reached

This metric shows all the contacts who have not received an email. Not reached = Out of Office + Bounced + Auto Replied contacts. The formula is the following:

  • Not reached in % = Not reached x 100 / Total people

To see the raw data for the Out of Office, Bounced and Auto Replied contacts, hover over the Not Reached metric on the Reports page:
