How to set up Zapier step integration in Zapier

Once you have created a Zapier step in a sequence, navigate to your Zapier account. For more information on how to add a new Zapier step to a Reply sequence, read this article.

To set up the sequence step automation "Move to next step immediately after this":

  1. First, you need to create a new Zap. Go to your Zapier dashboard and click the MAKE A ZAP button:

2. Give your Zap a name, select Reply as an app and Zapier Step Launched as a trigger event from the drop-down:

3. Once the trigger is set up, select Filter to specify which sequence the trigger belongs to:

4. Open your sequence and copy the sequence ID from the browser URL. Then paste it in the Zapier filter to trigger based on only the Zapier step events launched by the sequence:

5. Select your target app, for example, Copper, as well as the desired action event:

6. Map the fields from the launched Zapier step to the fields in your target app and save your zap:

To set up the sequence step automation "Wait for Zapier Action before moving to next step":

If you select the option “Wait for Zapier Action before moving to next step”, you will need to create another Zap called "Move to the Next Step" in order to proceed to the next sequence step. To do this:

  1. Click the MAKE A ZAP button from your Zapier dashboard

  2. Give your Zap a name, select Reply as an app, and Move to the Next Step as the desired action:

3. Select the sequence and map a contact email from your source system to the Reply Contact Email Field:

4. Get a sample preview and turn the Zap on:
