Condition steps let you branch your sequence into two paths – Yes or No – depending on whether a contact meets defined criteria.
When a contact reaches a condition step, Reply checks the selected rules and automatically routes them to the appropriate branch. This allows you to personalize follow-ups and adjust messaging based on contact data or behavior.
In this article, we'll go over the available conditions so you can better understand how to branch your sequences.
If you're looking for step-by-step instructions on setting up conditional sequences, check out our dedicated guide.
When adding a condition step, you'll see two categories: Popular conditions and Other conditions.
💡Important: If you add multiple properties to a condition:
Different properties use AND logic
The same property added multiple times uses OR logic
👉Examples:
If you set Email is set AND Email validation status is Valid, the condition will return contacts who have an email address and whose email is valid.
If you add LinkedIn connection status = Pending OR LinkedIn connection status = Not connected, the condition will return contacts whose connection request is pending or who are not connected with you.
