Autopilot mode

Set up Autopilot mode to automatically add contacts to your AI SDR sequence

Written by Tania

Autopilot mode helps add new contacts to your AI SDR sequence based on the filters you set for your target audience. Once enabled, Reply will continuously search for matching leads and add a selected number of contacts to the sequence daily.

To enable Autopilot mode:

  • When creating a sequence:

    1. At the Contacts step, click Edit ICP filters to review and fine-tune your filters.

    2. Enable Autopilot in the Settings step.

  • For an existing sequence, simply open the sequence, edit the filters if needed, and toggle the Autopilot switch on.

Here's an overview of the filters you can use in Autopilot modešŸ‘‡:

Account-based filters

Sales Navigator Search URL

Paste the URL of your LinkedIn Sales Navigator search results, and your filters in Reply will automatically update to match the ones from the link.

šŸ’”Note: Some Sales Navigator filters, such as Shared experiences, or saved searches, aren't supported yet. If your search includes any unsupported options, they'll be skipped, but the rest of the filters will still be applied.

Accounts list

Upload a list of companies by providing their domains, and the AI will find contacts from those companies instead of using account-based filters. You can select the list from a dropdown.

šŸ’”Note: Fields like Industry and Employee Headcount will be locked since they're based on the company data you upload.

To use this option, first upload your accounts on the Accounts page, create a list, and select it in Autopilot.

Other account-based filters include:

Filter

Description

Industry

Filter companies based on their industry (e.g., SaaS, healthcare, finance).

Account location

Target companies based on their country, region, or city.

Employee headcount

Target companies based on the total number of employees.

Employee headcount growth

Set the minimum and maximum percentage to find companies that are growing in size over time.

Department headcount growth

Set the percentage range to target companies with growing teams in specific departments, like Marketing or Sales.

Annual revenue

Target companies based on their estimated annual revenue in USD.

Keywords (for companies)

Search for companies that mention specific keywords in their descriptions or activities.

Hiring on Social Media

This filter allows you to see which companies have open job positions on LinkedIn. By focusing on these companies, you can reach out to prospects who are currently involved in the hiring process and may be more receptive to your solutions.

Contact-based filters

Filter

Description

Contact location

Filter contacts by country, city, or region.

Job title

Target specific roles like Marketing Manager or Head of Sales.

Department

Find contacts working in departments like Sales, Marketing, or HR.

Seniority

Focus on seniority levels such as Director, Lead, or Manager.

Years in current company

Filter contacts based on how long they've been working at their current company.

Keywords (for contacts)

Search contacts using specific terms in their titles or bios.

Changed jobs in the last 90 days

Find contacts who started a new role within the last 90 days and may be more open to new tools or solutions.

šŸ’”Note: You can also click the ā€˜ā€“ā€™ icon to exclude specific job titles, industries, locations, etc.

šŸ“– Tip: We recommend refining your audience step-by-step:

  1. Start broad by filtering by location (country).

  2. Then narrow down by industry and company size.

  3. Review the companies found and check the roles and titles available.

Aim for a target of around 5,000 to 10,000 companies. If your audience is smaller (under 1,000 companies), use the Accounts list to upload a CSV of the specific companies you want to target.

Settings

'Contacts only' search mode

Focus only on individual contacts, even if their company details are missing. Some options, like industry filters, won’t be available, but you'll still have access to more prospects.

Number of contacts per company

Set how many contacts you want AI SDR to add from each company.

Number of contacts to find per day

Control how many new contacts will be added to your sequence each day.

Edit or pause Autopilot mode

You can pause Autopilot or change its filters at any time.

  1. Go to the Sequences page and open the sequence you want to update.

  2. Switch to the People tab.

  3. Use the Autopilot mode toggle to pause or resume it.

  4. To view or edit your filters, click Edit filters next to the toggle.
