Re-engagement

Use re-engagement to send follow-ups to leads who've stopped replying

Written by Tania

Re-engagement can be set up as part of your AI SDR Knowledge Base and helps you stay in touch with leads who stopped responding. When it's enabled, Jason will either automatically send a follow-up message to pick the conversation back up or save a draft for your review first, depending on your AI Replies settings.

You can choose:

  • When to follow up

  • What kind of message to send (just a short outline)

  • The tone of voice the message should follow

Jason will send a LinkedIn message or email that refers to your previous conversation, so you don't have to track every lead manually.

How to set up Re-engagement?

  1. Go to the AI SDR → Knowledge Bases page.

  2. Select your knowledge base and open the Re-engagement section.

  3. Click New Re-engagement.

  4. Create a name and fill in the Send after (days) field – this determines how many days after the last reply Jason should follow up with a prospect.

  5. Select the Delivery mode. Choose Auto to send the follow-up automatically, or Draft to generate it as a draft for review. You can set up different follow-ups with different delivery modes. If you use both options, select Mixed under What would you like to do with AI-generated re-engagement follow-ups? in the Jason AI settings.

  6. Fill out the remaining fields:

    • Instructions – add a short guideline for Jason, like the tone of voice and any key points to include.

    • Sample answer – write an example message to help Jason understand the style you're looking for.

    • Tone of voice – select from confident, persuasive, witty, straightforward, or empathetic.

    • Response length – choose how long the message should be (from super short to long).

    • Resources – add any helpful links to support the follow-up.

    • Media – upload a PDF or DOC file if there's anything else that could help re-engage the lead.

  7. Save!

You can create multiple follow-ups, for example, one after 2 days and another one after 5 days. If you ever want to pause a follow-up, just turn off the toggle next to it.
