The article describes how to add and edit custom contact fields

Reply allows users to create and edit custom contact fields. Currently, the system supports two types of fields - text and number. You can add up to 50 custom fields to your account. These fields are shared with all team members.

Custom fields in Beta enabled version can be found in Contacts' section:

Important: The Number field supports only numerical values. 

Adding custom fields

To add a custom field:

  1. Open the Emails tab of the Settings page and scroll down to the Custom fields section.  

  2. Expand the Custom fields section and click Add custom variable

  3. In the Field label field, enter the name of the custom field. 

  4. In the Field type drop-down list, select the field type - text or number.  

  5. Click Save.

Note: you can also access the Custom fields section from the People page - COLUMNS drop-down list:

Editing custom fields

To edit your custom fields:

  1. Open the Emails tab of the Settings page and scroll down to the Custom fields section.  

  2. Expand the Custom fields section to see the list of your custom fields.

  3. Hover over the custom field you want to edit and click the Edit custom field button. 

  4. Change the Field label field to the desired one and click Save

Note: you can only edit the Field label field for now. It's not possible to delete it.
