Contact Stages help you understand how much you're interacting with your contacts. These stages are labels like Interested, Engaging, Not Interested, Do Not Contact, and others.

By labeling each contact, you can see the big picture of your outreach efforts. This helps you communicate and follow up more effectively.

πŸ’‘ Important: Contact stages are not the same as contact statuses. Reply automatically assigns contact statuses based on the type of interaction.

Editing stages

While you cannot add new contact stages yet, you can fully edit the existing ones including the name, label color, and description. Here is how you can do it:

  1. Go to the Settings;

  2. Open the Contacts tab;

  3. Expand the Contacts stages block:

  4. Hover over the stage and click on the βš™οΈ icon to edit;

  5. Make changes and click Save:

πŸ’‘ Important:

  • You cannot create a new stage; you can only edit the existing one.

  • The maximum length of a stage's name is 21 symbols, while the maximum length of a description is 512 symbols.

Settings stages

Once you have prepared some contact stages, you can start assigning them to your contacts. Here is what you can do:

  1. Go to the People page;

  2. Select needed contacts;

  3. Click on the More list to expand it;

  4. Choose Set stage:

Once the stages are assigned, you can double-check them in the separate column:

This is it! If you need any other information about contact stages, feel free to message our Support team in chats or email them at [email protected].
