Written by Tania

Realtime B2B Data provides live contact information from LinkedIn based on your chosen filters, helping you quickly find relevant contacts and build your outreach lists. In this article, we'll see how to use Realtime B2B Data to find leads for your outreach.

How to use Realtime B2B Data?

To search for leads in Realtime B2B Data, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Data page.

  2. Apply your filters. You will see a preview showing 5-7 contacts that match your criteria. If the preview meets your expectations, you can save the contacts to your account.

  3. Click Launch Live Search to save the contacts.

  4. Choose where to save the contacts:

    • Save to a specific list

    • Add to a sequence

    • Save to both a list and a sequence

    • Leave both fields empty to save directly to your Reply account

  5. After launching the search, you will be redirected to the Search History tab, where you can track the status of your search.

Reply credits

To save contacts, you need Reply credits. The number of credits depends on the information available for each contact:

  • 1 credit: Contact with a LinkedIn profile link but no email

  • 2 credits: Contact with a LinkedIn profile link and an email

  • 3 credits: Contact with a phone number

Every user receives 50 basic credits. You can buy more as an add-on via Plans & Billing → Manage current subscription.

To track your current Reply credits usage, navigate to the Plans & Billing page in your Reply account → Reply credits:

Filters

Sales Navigator search URL

Paste the URL of your LinkedIn Sales Navigator search results. Your filters in Reply.io will automatically update to match the ones from the link.

💡 Note: Some filters, like Changed Jobs, Posted on LinkedIn, Shared Experiences, or saved searches in Sales Navigator, are not supported yet. If unsupported filters are used, you'll see a note that they will be skipped, but the rest of the filters will still apply.

Accounts list

If you're targeting specific companies, you can upload a list of company domains. The AI will find contacts from those companies instead of using any other filters. You can then select the list from the dropdown.

💡 Note: Fields such as Industry and Employee Headcount will be locked because they are based on the company data you upload.

To use this option, first upload your accounts on the Accounts page, create a list, and select it in Data.

Keywords

Use keywords to refine your search. This can help you find specific technologies, job positions, or other criteria that may not be listed in job titles. The filter works for both accounts (companies) and contacts.

Exclusion filters

For Accounts lists, Industry, Account/Contact location, Keywords, Job title, and Department, you also have the option to exclude filters. If you want to remove specific companies, locations, or job titles from your search, just click the button in the filter.

Hiring on Social Media

This filter helps personalize your outreach by showing whether a company is currently recruiting on LinkedIn.

Add contacts without email addresses

By default, Realtime B2B Data only shows contacts with email addresses. If you’re targeting leads for LinkedIn-only outreach, you can turn on the Add contacts without email addresses option. When this is enabled, you'll see contacts both with and without emails. Contacts without emails cost 1 credit each.

Find phone numbers

When this option is enabled, the system will try to find phone numbers for your prospects if they are available. Each phone number found costs 3 Reply credits. Contacts without a phone number will still be added if a valid number cannot be found.

'Contacts only' search mode

This mode lets you find more prospects by focusing only on contacts, without linking them to a company. Some filters, like Industry, won't be available. Normally, the system searches companies first, then finds contacts. In Contacts Only mode, you'll see contacts even if we don't know their company. You can also turn on Add contacts without email addresses to reach an even bigger pool of contacts.

Search history tab

The Search History tab shows details about your previous searches. For each search, you'll see:

  • Date – The date and time the search was launched.

  • Saved to – Whether the contacts were saved to a sequence or a list.

  • Status – The current status (Finished, No new contacts, Running, or Paused).

  • Used credits – How many credits were used for the search.

  • Contacts found – The number of contacts found.

  • Owner – Who launched the search.

Next to each search, click the three dots to:

  • View contacts – See the contacts from this search.

  • Use this search again – Apply the same filters to find a new batch of contacts.

  • Pause or Resume – Pause the search if you need to adjust filters and save credits, or resume it to continue.

  • Delete – Remove the search entry from your history.

💡 Note: By default, contacts already saved to your account will not be duplicated. If you pause a search, the system may still add the last batch of 10-20 contacts before stopping. You can later choose to resume or delete the search.
