Do I need to pause the Out-of-Office prospects manually or is there an auto-setup?

The contacts with an Out-of-Office message will be automatically paused. This means they will stop receiving sequence emails until they return to the Active status. Sometimes you need to activate the contacts sooner, and this article will show you how.

While the automatic handling is located in the account settings, you can manually change the status in the People tab any time you want. Here are the steps you need:

  1. Open to the People tab of your sequence;

  2. Choose the Out-of-Office contacts;

  3. Click the Change status icon:

  4. Click on the "+" next to the Active status:

Once the status is changed to Active, the sequence starts sending the next emails to this contact. Otherwise, we will wait for the automatic handling to trigger. If you want to double-check the number of days you have, follow these steps👇

  1. Go to the Emails tab of your Settings;

  2. Expand the Out of Office section:

  3. Check the number of days we wait before resuming the contacts.
