If a contact replies via LinkedIn to an automatic LinkedIn step, Reply detects the reply and assigns the Replied status to this contact. The status is visible both on the People page and People in Sequence page. The text of the reply becomes available in the contact Activity log.

On top of that, you can filter out contacts that replied by LinkedIn both on the People page and People in Sequence page. All the replied by LinkedIn contacts will be assigned the Replied status, just like those that replied by email or SMS.

How it works

  1. You send an automatic LinkedIn message or connection request with a note to a prospect.

  2. The prospect replies for the first time to a LinkedIn automatic step.

  3. The prospect is assigned the Replied status in the sequence.

  4. The prospect is either Finished or remains Active depending on the When person replies setting.

5. The text of the reply becomes available in the contact Activity log, together with the indication that the contact replied by LinkedIn.

You can use LinkedIn Automation only for replies detection and send all your LinkedIn messages manually. In this case, simply increase the value of the Replies Detection limit (to 100) and decrease that of the Connections & Messages limit (to 0).
