Written by Dasha Leshchenko

You can import contacts from a CSV file directly into a sequence. If your CSV file contains contacts that are already enrolled in other sequences, you can choose how those contacts should be handled during the import process.

How to import contacts directly into a sequence

  1. Create a new sequence.

  2. Select Import from CSV.

  3. Upload your CSV file.

  4. Map all fields from your CSV file to the corresponding Reply fields.

  5. After the mapping, you will see an option for handling contacts that are already enrolled in other sequences. You can choose one of the following options:

  • Move to this one – removes contacts from their current sequences and adds them to the new sequence.

  • Skip – does not import contacts that are already enrolled in other sequences.

  • Add to this one and keep in current – adds contacts to the new sequence while keeping them in their existing sequences.

To keep contacts in their current sequences and also add them to the new one, select Add to this one and keep in current.
