How to reconnect my LinkedIn account?

Learn how to reconnect your LinkedIn account if it gets disconnected

Written by Tania

If your LinkedIn session cookie expires, your LinkedIn sequences may stop, and you'll need to reconnect the account. Cookies can expire, and LinkedIn accounts may get disconnected for several reasons:

  • You logged out of LinkedIn, which interrupts the automatic session. Clearing your browser cache or cookies can also log you out.

  • You use multiple LinkedIn accounts without separate browsers or browser profiles. Make sure each LinkedIn account is signed in from its own browser or profile.

  • You accessed your LinkedIn account from multiple devices or locations, which can disrupt the connection.

💡For a more stable connection, we recommend reconnecting your account via credentials or an invite link.

Reconnecting via Findy session cookie

If you connected your LinkedIn account via a session cookie, follow these steps:

  1. Open Findy.

  2. Make sure you are signed in to your LinkedIn account in your browser.

  3. Click on ⚙️ to open Findy settings.

  4. Click Automatic session cookie and then Go to Reply.

  5. You will be redirected to your Reply account. Click Refresh to update the cookie.

  6. Enable the LinkedIn toggle and make sure it turns green.

Reconnecting via credentials or invite link

If you connected your LinkedIn account via credentials or an invite link, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the LinkedIn accounts page.

  2. Reconnect your account using one of the following options:

    • Click the three dots next to your LinkedIn account → select Reconnect.

    • Or open your LinkedIn profile and click Reconnect in the top right corner.

  3. Re-enter your credentials.

Done! After reconnecting your LinkedIn account, relaunch your sequence by turning the toggle off and then on again.
