How to use canned responses in the Inbox?

Save time using canned responses in your Inbox

Canned (snippet) responses allow you to save frequently used replies, making your communication with prospects quicker and more efficient.


How to save a canned response?

  1. Go to the Inbox in your account.

  2. Type your response.

  3. Right-click on the message you want to save as a canned response.

  4. Select Save as Canned Response.

  5. Create a name for your response and click Save.

How to access your saved canned responses?

Once your canned response is saved, you can easily access it at any time. You can do it in 3 different ways:

  1. From the Note Icon:

  • Open the text editor in your Inbox.

  • Click on the Note Icon to view your saved canned responses.

  • Select the one you want, and it will be inserted into your email automatically.

2. Using the "/" Symbol:

  • Type "/" in the reply field.

  • Start typing the name of the response or select one from the list that appears, and it will be added to your email.

3. Keyboard Shortcuts:

  • On Windows: Press CTRL + S.

  • On Mac: Press Command + S.
