Cloud Calls in Findy

Learn how to make calls in Chrome Extension

Reply Cloud Calls allow you to make phone calls directly from the Reply Chrome Extension. This helps you contact prospects without switching tools.

To use Cloud Calls, you must first enable the feature in the Reply web application.

Cloud Calls let you place calls in different parts of the Chrome Extension. You can use them to contact prospects from:

  • Dialer

  • Contact details screen

  • Tasks


How to use Cloud Calls

Dialer

The Dialer is located in the top menu of the Chrome Extension. It allows you to call any phone number manually.

You can call a contact directly from their profile. To do this:

  1. Open a contact in the Chrome Extension.

  2. Click the Call button.

💡 Note that the contact must have a valid phone number.

Tasks

Call-type tasks allow you to make calls directly from your task list.

  1. Select your task and click Launch tasks.

  2. Click the Call button.

💡Important: To complete a call task, Findy must be open in External mode. To enable it, go to Findy settings and set the plugin view to External.


Create a follow-up task from a call

When you make a call using Findy, you can also create a follow-up task. This lets you schedule the next activity immediately after the call, without needing to search for the contact again.

To create a follow-up task:

  1. Go to Findy → Tasks.

  2. Make a call.

  3. In the Log a call window, select a call resolution and add notes (optional).

  4. Click Log the call and select Log & follow up or Log, complete & follow up.

  5. Select the task type and the due date.

  6. Click Create task.

The follow-up task will be created once the call is successfully logged.
