In the Goals tab, you can define and customize specific objectives for your chatbot, such as gathering contact information, encouraging trial sign-ups, or facilitating demo bookings. By setting clear goals that align with your business needs, you can maximize your chatbot's potential.

To select a goal, toggle it on and follow the instructions provided for each type:

  • Get contact information

This goal enables your chatbot to collect necessary contact details from users. You can specify the contact information you want the chatbot to gather by adding contact fields. Click the Add contact field and start adding contact fields.

  • Start trial

With this goal, your chatbot can encourage users to initiate a trial, enhancing your conversion strategy. Customize the text for the action button and provide the URL where users will be redirected after clicking the button:

Text for action button: Use this field to customize the call-to-action (CTA) displayed on the action button. Tailor the text to resonate with your target audience, making the invitation to start a trial more enticing and specific.

Link for action button: Enter the URL where users will be redirected after clicking the action button. Providing a direct link to the trial sign-up page or initiation process creates a seamless user experience, guiding potential customers through your conversion funnel and facilitating the transition from interest to action.

Pin action button to chat: Keep the action button visible and accessible in the chat interface by selecting this option. This ensures users can easily start a trial at any point during the conversation.

  • Book a demo

Setting up this goal simplifies the demo booking process for users. They can view real-time availability and select suitable time slots directly through the chat interface. To set up this goal, connect one of your calendars (Calendly or Reply Calendar).
