Inbox overview

Reply's Inbox brings all conversations across your sequences into a single view. It helps you keep track of replies, respond faster, and organize conversations without switching between sequences. 🎥 Check out the video below to see how to manage replies in the Inbox. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5AKK3o7gU8 To open Inbox, click Inbox in the main menu on the left. View threads All replies appear in the Inbox as threads, sorted by the most recent message first. Each thread gives you a quick overview of the conversation, including: - Channel (manual or automatic email, or LinkedIn) - Contact name - Inbox Category (for example, Interested, Not interested, Meeting intent, Do not contact – assigned automatically based on the reply) - Message preview - Sequence - Category - Date and time of the latest reply 💡 By default, one page shows up to 50 threads. You can move between pages using the arrows in the top right corner. Switch between view modes You can switch between two viewing modes depending on how you prefer to work: - Standard view – shows the full list of threads - Split view – shows the thread list and the selected conversation side by side. Split view is helpful when you want to go through replies one by one without leaving the list. To use it, click the Split pane mode icon on the right. Manage threads Click any thread to open the full conversation along with the contact's details. Inside a thread, you can: - Review the full message history - Access and update contact details - Mark as unread - Assign categories to organize conversations - Delete a thread View thread participants and save contacts You can view all participants in an email thread, including senders and recipients in CC and BCC, and save new contacts directly from the Inbox. To view participants, open a thread and click the needed message. Click the arrow next to the sender's email address to see the full list of recipients, including CC and BCC. You can also click a participant's name or email address to open their contact card. From there, you can view or edit existing contact information, or create a new contact if they haven't been saved in Reply yet. Manage multiple threads If you need to take action on multiple conversations, you can select several threads at once and apply bulk actions: - Mark as read/unread - Assign or update Inbox categories - Export replies via CSV - Delete threads Reply to threads Reply to an entire thread At the bottom of the thread, click: - Reply to respond to the contact. - Reply All to respond to the contact and everyone in CC. Reply to a specific message Next to an individual message, click: - Reply to reply to that message. - Reply All to reply to that message and everyone in CC. Forward a thread or message - Click Forward at the bottom of the thread to forward the entire conversation. - Click Forward next to an individual message to forward only that message. When writing your reply, you can use templates and variables, preview your message, as well as format text or add links and media. Search threads If you're working with a large number of conversations, you can use search to quickly find the thread you need. You can search by: - Contact name - Email address - Email subject Search also works with partial matches. You can enter just a fragment of a name, email, or subject line, and relevant results will still appear. Filter threads Inbox includes several filtering options to help you focus on the most relevant conversations. You can filter threads by owner: - All – threads from all team members - My – only your threads - Specific team member You can also filter by channel to focus on a specific type of outreach: - Email – manual or automatic email conversations - LinkedIn – LinkedIn threads Folders help you switch between the main Inbox views: - Inbox – shows all threads in your Inbox (this is the default view) - Unread – shows only threads with unread messages - AI draft – shows threads with replies generated by Jason AI Categories help you organize replies based on intent, such as: - Interested - Not interested - Not now - Do not contact You can also narrow results by using the filters at the top of the page: - Sequence - Sending email - Sending LinkedIn account - Category - Time range (All time, Older than 1 month, Older than 3 months, Older than 6 months, or Custom) Filters can be combined. For example, you can view only unread LinkedIn conversations within a specific category. You can also open Inbox for a specific sequence to see only its conversations. It works the same way as the main Inbox, just for one sequence. If your Inbox includes auto-replies, out-of-office messages, or bounced emails, you can hide them to keep your view focused on real conversations. Reply provides separate settings for: - Your email provider inbox (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) - Your Reply inbox This allows you to control how automated responses are displayed in each location. To do this: 1. Open the Emails tab in your Settings and go to the Email Safety section. 2. Under How to handle Auto replies and Bounce emails in your email client, select one of the following options: - Do Nothing (keep emails in your mailbox) - Delete (automatically remove emails from your mailbox) - Mark as read (keep emails and mark them as read) 3. Under How to handle Auto replies and Bounce emails in your Reply inbox, select one of the following options: - Do not display (hide emails from the Reply Inbox and contact cards) - Display (show emails as unread in the Reply Inbox and contact cards) - Display & mark as read (show emails and automatically mark them as read) 4.
