When the campaign's been launched, it can take up to 30 mins to start sending emails.
The campaign processing works in stages:
Stage 1: Checking the user’s email account inbox (and other folders, depending on email provider) for opens and replies (processing about 1h);
Stage 2: Sending emails (processing about 1h if no server errors occurred).
The system processes campaigns every 7-10 minutes, with stage 2 (sending emails) proceeding immediately after the initial account check. If the system runs into any errors during stage 1, emails will not be sent until the next process. If there are no errors the emails will be sent out immediately.
In the case of new or low activity accounts, campaign-processing time is increased (up to 40 minutes).
According to the Campaign Settings, emails are sent with a default delay of 67 seconds between each. The system adds up to an additional 30 seconds for processing.
The email sending process lasts up to an hour. After that it stops to check and track replies (to avoid sending follow ups to those that did reply), this is because the system cannot proceed with both stages simultaneously.
Reply can manage up to 100 campaigns at once, this results in some campaigns experiencing a slight delay. Other reasons for delayed start times include server overloads and IMAP/SMTP setting errors found during processing.
