While setting up your personal account at Reply you'll need to import contacts for reaching out. And we suggest 2 options how to do that:
- Import from .csv file
- Add a contact manually
When you select 'Import from CSV' option, you'll need to either drag and drop the .csv file to the window shown up or to browse from your computer:
There are 3 steps of importing people from CSV, where first is to select file and second is to map fields for importing:
Here you need to select fields which are to be mapped to your Reply account, People page.
Email and Firstname are mandatory fields. Other fields are optional and depend on their presence in your CSV file.
You can also add a custom field for using as a variable in your email templates.
Press 'Continue' when you're done on this step.
On this step you're able to either add your people into the list of all your contacts or assign them into different contact lists.
After the file is selected, fields are mapped, lists assigned - the last step shows the results of current importing:
- How many contacts have been imported;
- Which ones were updated;
- If any contacts were skipped - you'll be able to download .csv file of those people;
- If there were any errors while importing - you'll be able to download a .csv file of them.
Click 'Done' and find your list with contacts on People page.
