Connecting your email address

Reply uses your mailbox to send emails to contacts. The first thing you need to do is to add and set up your email. You can use different providers but the domain needs to be corporate, not generic.

Here is what you need to do:

  • Go to the Email Accounts tab of your Settings

  • Click the New email account and choose your provider

  • Once the provider is picked, click Continue

💡Important: the first added mailbox becomes a default email address and will be automatically added to your sequences.

Adding and validating contacts

Once you have added your mailbox, you can add the prospects to work with. We have got a few ways to add contacts to Reply:

  • From CSV file - if you have a CSV file with your contacts list, you can upload it to Reply.

  • Manually - this is a great option to add people by manually entering the details. You will have control over all the fields and data.

  • From the Data tab - Reply has a database of contacts. You can find the ones you need by setting up filters. One revealed contact = one Data credit.

Creating a sequence

Once the contacts are added, you can create your first campaign. There are a few options to create a sequence:

  • From Template - use Reply's library templates or team templates;

  • From Scratch - create your sequence manually by using the building blocks;

  • From Magic - generate campaigns with AI by entering the prompt.

  • Sales Agent - you can set up sequences by describing your business and offer.

Setting up integrations

You can set up integrations if you have an account in a CRM system. We have multiple native ones (Salesforce, Pipedrive, Hubspot, etc.), all you need is to connect two platforms.

If the integration you need is not on the list, you can try using Zapier. There are lots of sync steps you can work with.

Communicating and following up with your prospects

Clicking on any contact will open the Prospect Activity Profile. It has a complete history of interaction and lets you perform different actions:

  • Sending single direct emails

  • Calling, enriching the contact

  • Moving to sequence, list

  • Adding notes

  • Changing contact details, stages, and statuses

  • Blacklisting / unblacklisting

  • Deleting

Browsing analytics

There are two ways to check the stats in Reply: inside the sequence or in the Reports tab. While the sequence metrics are linked to some campaigns, the Reports show any team member, sequence, email account, or date range.

The reports also have a detailed view below the graphs.
