How to find contacts in the Data tab

Learn how to use Data tab to easily find and outreach new contacts from our database

The Data tab can be accessed from the top header menu. It gives you access to our internal B2B company and contacts database with over 118 million verified contacts from all ranges of industries. The database is updated monthly with new information, making it a valuable tool for finding potential leads for outreach efforts.

Using the smart filters on the left side of the page, you can look for specific contacts and those who match your search criteria. You can easily pick the right leads, contacts, candidates, and partners from instant search results and add them directly to your contact lists or even move them to sequences in Reply.

How to use the Data tab

Once you get to the Data tab, you will see a blank page with the smart filters in the left-side panel.

You can use smart filters to find the right audience for your outreach. Once you enter your search criteria, the page will be updated with a list of contacts.

Contacts will be shown in the grid with company and contact information. Here's a description of all the columns in the grid:

  • headquarter

Reveal details

By clicking the button, you can view the phone number and email address of the contact, and then add them to your lists or move them to sequences in Reply for future outreach efforts.

Please note. The phone number and email address of a contact are hidden and can only be revealed by using a search credit. One credit can be used per contact. The number of available search credits is displayed in the upper right corner and is based on the number of email search credits.

Search for contacts

Here are the steps on how to find relevant contacts:

  1. Access the Data tab from the top header menu.

  2. Use the smart filters on the left side of the page to set your search criteria, such as industry, company size, location, job title, etc. To use the filters, simply hover over a filter and select the desired value. You can either choose a value from the drop-down list provided or type in your own value and press "Enter".

  3. Click Apply. The page will be updated with a list of contacts that match your criteria.

Please note:

  • You can select multiple items for one filter, and multiple filters for one search, to get even more specific results.

  • When you start typing a search request, a drop-down list of possible matches will be shown based on the data in the database.

  • If you want to clear all the selected filters, simply click "Clear All".

Here's a description of all the filters you can use:

Filter

Description

Account name

Search contacts by company name or domain:

  • Once you start typing the name of the company, the names of all companies related to the entered name will be shown in the drop-down list.

  • After selecting the first name of the company, you can start inputting the new company name.

Account HQ location

Search for the contact by the location of the account's headquarters.

Industry

Search for the contact by an industry that they are working in.

Employee headcount

Search for the contact by company size that they are working in. Possible options:

  • 1-10

  • 11-50

  • 51-200

  • 201-500

  • 501-1000

  • 1001-5000

  • 5001-10000

  • 10001+

Revenue

Search for the contact by company revenue that they are working into. Possible options:

Less than $1M

$1M to $5M

$5M to $10M

$10M to $25M

$25M to $50M

$50M to $100M

$100M to $250M

$250M to $500M

$500M to $1B

$1B+

Contact name

Filter contacts by name.

After selecting the first name of the contact, you can start inputting another one.

Job title

Search for the contact by job title.

You can insert information about the current job title of the person who is looking for it.

The search is NOT case-sensitive. “CEO“, “Ceo“, and “ceo“ are the same searches.

Department

Search for the contact by the department that they are working in. Possible options:

  • Operations

  • Executive

  • Information Technology

  • Education

  • Sales

  • Finance

  • Community And Social Services

  • Engineering

  • Real Estate

  • Human Resources

  • Marketing

  • Health Services

  • Product Management

  • Legal

  • Administrative

  • Media And Communications

  • Military And Protective Services

  • Government

Seniority

Search for the contact by seniority. Possible options:

  • C-level

  • Vice President

  • Director

  • Manager

  • Staff

  • Other

Email status

Filter contacts by email status. Possible options:

  • Valid

  • Risky

  • No answer

Contact details

Filter contacts by the exact phone number or email address.

All the filters that you have applied will be saved automatically. Click on the Saved filters button in the upper right corner to view all the filters that you have previously used.

Add contacts to lists and sequences

When you make a search request and find needed contacts, you can view their contact information and add them to the lists and sequence in Reply.

  1. Click "Reveal details" in front of the needed contact to access all contact details. The phone number and email address will be shown.

  2. Click "Move to" to perform further actions with the contact.

  3. Select the list to which you may want to add a contact in Rely. Move the contact to particular sequences.

  4. Click Move.

You can also perform bulk operations in the tab and add multiple contacts to lists and sequences at once. For this, follow these steps:

  1. Check the contacts you want to add.

  2. Click on the "Reveal details" button located at the top of the grid.

  3. Click "Move to" and select the needed lists and sequences.

Important.

  • If the contact or account already exists on your People page, it cannot be transferred from the Data page.

  • Once you click Reveal details, the contact will be automatically saved to the People page.
